My Triple Negative Breast Cancer survivor pink sister, Raymon shares her experience of the day she found out she had breast cancer as she prepares for the annual Komen for the Cure Race 2011. In her own words, ""At first it was devastating, but I didn't want my husband to know how much it affected me," she said.
Raymon's supportive husband shaved her head as she lost her hair during treatments. "I didn't know how people would perceive me. I didn't know if I would still be considered attractive, especially to my husband because that was one of the things he liked," she said. "He told me that you're still here, you're still the same person on the inside."
... I learned not to let the cancer define me", she said.
